This nice little group wafted into view last night and, after pulling the trigger, George Lawson is now part of the Natal Theatre collection. It's a good thing I have a spare 1902 Coronation Medal knocking about looking for a home, as he was part of the BMR contingent. The Lawson's were (are) a prominent family from the Umzinto area of the South Coast of Natal - part of the recruiting ground for the Border Mounted Rifles.
