In the late 1980s I put together a small booklet listig all the South Australians who had served in the Boer War I could find in alphabetic order. Recently I was at a Military Historicl Society meeting which featured a quiz night and one of the questions was this. I was bumfounded as it never occurred to me all those years ago to forensically examine what I had produced. I recently revisited the roll of this unit and sure enough there are enough pairs of surnames on the roll to make a case.
