I thought members might like to see the medals to a man who was the very backbone of the old NNV. George Ambler was in the Relief of Ladysmith and, as you can see, earned a plethora of medals over and above the QSA to which he was entitled for that campaign.

Do you know what happened to his RHS Medal or the circumstances of the award?
