Hello, Don't know if someone with a lot more knowledge than myself would be able to confirm something please. Is it correct that medals had to to be claimed before they were issued ? I ask because apparently only 22 medals were issued regarding the Port Nolloth Town Guard, which on the medal roll does seem to show some individuals that with no issue against their name i.e. F Devonshire (regiment no 15)
