Good afternoon to you all.
I have recently purchased a WW1 trio to Alexander Black, After having a little research i have discovered he had quite a complex service life. it appears in 1898 he enlist in the Royal Scots, very soon after he then transferred to the Scots Greys. while with them he served in South Africa and in 1910 was put on the reserve list, he was then called up at the the begining of the First War. He served in France giving him entitlement to the 1914 Star before being discharged on the 21st September 1915. On the 22nd September he enlisted in the Norfolk Yeomanry Before being Finally discharged in 1919 as a WO2 in The Norfolks. so he 1914 Star shows the 2nd Dragoons and his British war and Victory show the Norfolk Regiment, however i beleive he is also has entitlement for a Queens South Africa medal with bars, Cape Colony, Orange Free State and Transvaal. Long with entitlement to the Kings South Africa Medal with 1901 and 1902 bars.
So i appreciate this is a long but i am wondering if anybody has seen these medals or possibly even owns them and would consider some way of reuniting the group again.
Any help would be gratefully received.
