I have recently acquired a 7 clasp medal issued to 3684 J Smaile 12/R.LRS. The medal itself is 7 clasps and it says he was entitled to 6. The South Africa 1901 being the extra clasp. I have tried looking on medal rolls and seen verification for the 6 clasps but not the 1901. The medal roll itself did not have the date clasps as options to tick so I'm hoping potentially the 1901 clasp has been issued but is slightly trickier to find verification for!

Thanks for this Dave. I thought I'd looked carefully through the medal rolls. Obviously not. I'll add photos of the medal when it arrives. Happy new year
