I have tried to find a medal roll for 4th Battalion Middx, which I understand saw duty on St.Helena, but I can't find it in WO100 at TNA. Any ideas, or am I wrong about the Battalion seeing service during the war? The reason I am asking is, I am researching a Charles James Sharp who received the QSA medal and served in the Middx regiment - service number unknown. He is not the Charles James Sharp who served in the Imperial Yeomanry. I have found an A J Sharp in 3rd Battalion, but nothing about 4th Batt.
