Brown was an engine driver who was atteched to an armoured train on CGR - am looking for information regarding his ABW medal (s).

There is a driver W Brown of the CGP listed on WO100/279p29 with the annotation 'Working trains in theatre of war'

A different driver W Brown is listed in the next page (WO100/279p30) with the same annotation.

It is a long shot but there may be an entry for him in the South Africa Railways and Harbours magazine which is online and searchable: documents.drisa.co.za/
