Hi Forum Members, does anybody know the medal entitlement of Bernard Behan can anybody verify Kings and Queens South Africa Medals with 6 clasps, any help most welcome. Kindest regards DaveC

Do you have a regimental number for him?

I can't be sure of but on his WW1 service record on his medal entitlement it's very faint it says something Africa with a No. 3642. I've tried to attach a picture but it's not showing up here. Regards DaveC

Sorry searching medal rolls on Ancestry and attestation papers/service records on FindMyPast comes up with no fits to a B Behan. Doing a name search on this site comes up with about 30 Behan's but none with an initial B and none in the Yorkshire Regiment. The majority served in Irish Regiments as you might expect.

If your photos won't post it is probably because they are electronically too large - I often to have to use the "Resize Image" facility and take them down to 480Kb or less.
