QSA (1) Cape Colony (1134 Pte. J. H. Adriancie. Kimberley Vol: Regt.)

Described as: John Henry Adriance, a Railway Guard from Beaconsfield, Kimberley, Northern Cape, attested into the Kimberley Volunteer Regiment for service during the Boer War. He saw further service with the Kimberley Light Horse and the Bechuanaland Rifles and is additionally entitled to three further clasps, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902. He died, aged 69, in Cape Town on 13 December 1953.
