This post is about unofficial clasps and how many different ones were made for the QSA. There seem to be two types of unofficial clasps; those that resemble the normal clasps and those that have a less prescribed appearance.

Amongst the former are Orange River Colony, Zand River and Pieter's Hill.

I have heard of Colenso and Glencoe but not seen examples of these.

And amongst the latter, these two date clasps:
