Hi Everyone

Not too long ago, I acquired a QSA to the following

Foot Constable - C Carstens - Malmesbury Police Force

I was told that only a few medals to this unit was issued with most being returned and only about +- 5 or 6 officially issued.

Does anyone have any information on this unit

Does anyone have a medal roll for this unit? I would like to confirm how many were issued to unit and how many returned.

A lovely medal and rather rare as you know. There are 14 men on the roll. These can be seen here .

Of these 14, 6 were returned and it appears that one was issued from another roll so that leaves 7.

Your man is on the roll.

Unit QSA's don't get much rarer than that! Congratulations on another treasure in your collection.

Hello Anthony,
I managed to miss this post and I agree with Brett, you will struggle to find a rarer QSA!
When I originally collected QSA's, I was keen to get all the clasps, as a result, I often did not even look at no clasp examples, some of which are both interesting and very rare indeed.
