3166 Private Patrick Ryan Royal Irish Regiment was born in Thomastown Kilkenny Ireland in 1871
He attested for the Royal Irish Regiment on 4th February 1889 his trade is shown as labourer.
5 feet 7 inches tall with brown hair and a fresh complexion his religous denomination was Roman Catholic.
Pte. Ryan served 6 years in India before serving 2 years in South Africa were he earned the QSA with Belfast,Wittebergen and Cape Colony clasps, he was also entitled to the KSA medal.
Private Ryan was discharged on 06/02/02 havibg served 13 years and 3 days, his next of kin is shown as his father Edward and Mother Johanna.

Not forgetting the medal itself, I like the Queen's crown on the badge and are those papers originals or colour copies?

Yes one of my favourite badges from my collection.
Papers are just colour copies from FMP.
