Dear All

this is interesting because he has everything South African since the Zulu war to WW1.

This is Major Knott, the man that was responsible for cutting of Bambata's head with the regimental doctor. He served in the annexation of the Transvaal, was in the party with the recovery of the body of the Prince Imperial.

Enjoy

That has to be quite uncommon Munroe with the inclusion of the Order of St John?

Munroe,

The group to Knott has to be a good contender for the question I just raised about the best South African Group!

Dear All

Here is something unusual. Queens medal with Albert medal for an action in the Boer war but only awarded in 1910.

Alexander James Stewart - Natal Gov Railways - awarded the Albert medal for saving life at Chieveley Station Natal.
