KSA (2) (820 Tpr. T. Oates. Midland M.R.).

Described as: Taylor Oates is confirmed on the medal rolls, and served with the Kaffrarian Rifles from 6 November 1899 until 5 November 5th 1900. He then served with Driscoll’s Scouts (no 23002) from 19 December 1900 until 15 June 1901, and then with the Midland Mounted Rifles from 10 April 1902 until 32 May 1902.

NOK: Mother, Du Toit Street, Port Elizabeth. KSA from NeH. Served in the Natal Rebellion, 1906.
