This is my first visit i,m hoping you may be able to help, i am trying to confirm the award of the QSA/KSA to 6342 W Mead 2/scots fus QSA 6342 W Mead 2/royal scots fusiliers KSA. I would be very grateful for any help.

Unfortunately, the news isn't good. I can't find anyone with this number and the surname Mead nor any W Meads who served in the Royal Scots Fusiliers.

Do you have the QSA and KSA?

Can you confirm the naming please?

Thank you sincerely for your help, it would appear that mead never served in the boer war he was with the regiment but was actually in prison at home . Sorry to have wasted your time i bought this group many years ago and i,m glad to say that having the proof now the people i bought them from part refunded my money,even after collecting for 40 years i guess sometimes i get it wrong.I did keep his 14 bar star trio which was his entitlement,
