I have been working through a lot of old catalogues recently to digitise the QSA content and it is always a very pleasant find when there are so many QSAs that they are differentiated by unit type as in CC68.

Can't remember ever seeing so many QSA's in an auction like this - does anyone have a sympathetic bank manager?

I thought the alphabetical index at the end of the catalogue was a good and helpful feature especially if in the future you have to come back to it for some reason.

Just read through CC68, my what a selection.

There is just one lot I really, really want (thankfully).

As for paying, last time I bought a medal from SA (from Michael Kaplan) I used my Caxton currency card which uses the Mastercard network. I get Rand at a very competitive rate, better than tourist rates and better than a credit card - today their Rand rate is 17.09.

Good luck!

Another particularly pleasing and well presented catalogue for anyone with an interest in South Africa and interestingly, a very nice selection of Town Guards and some really good QSA's at both ends of the market, something of everyone, I would think.

Submitting my bids is one of my tasks for today and a very pleasant task that is.
