Good morning Justin,
Henry Morant was not an angel, but, it just does not seem fair does it? :(
Kind regards Frank

The small Town Guard (less than 20) were called out on the night of 22/23 February to help repel the attack of Beyers' commando on Pietersburg. 'Breaker' Morant was temporarily released from jail, handed a rifle and helped defend the town from the jailhouse roof. He was executed five days later.

Still waiting for my results but am in that tenuous position where I hope I don't get everything I bid on......

What process do you follow with your bids Mike? It's totally unlike City Coins with the medals going to the highest bidder each and every time.

Makes things difficult if your'e not in the room (which I am not) as how trustworthy are the proceedings?

This time round, which is why I am waiting on a third party for my results, I threw my lot in with a chap who compiles a list and sends it to another who is in the room on the day. Once this chap has collated the results we will, doubtless, be informed of what was won and what was lost.

My nerves can't take the strain - I've already ordered reserach on medals I don't know if I've won....

Rory

Good Morning Rory.....

How do I calculate what I will bid?????

I look at my price records, look at the price records of this same item sold else were, calculate a price and add 25%.....

Then send in a written bid.....

Having someone there is great the trouble is we never have any auctions here..... Hope to maybe attend one when I am in UK in September....
