To be quite honest, I think that so often these days, it has become a gateway to sell completely spurious items with no questions asked, some sellers simply don't know, but, an awful lot do know exactly what they are doing and it is not in that sites interests to do anything about it as they make money from each listing.

I never did receive a reply to my email to Mark Alderson in Coventry about the copy clasps he had for sale. The description of 'Original' was unchanged and I see the three clasp lot (inc Belfast & Laing's Nek) sold for £79 to an unfortunate buyer.

It is very annoying, but, something that occurs everyday and sadly, is set to continue.

Two copy clasps, stated as such, in the next DNW auction.

Would I be right in assuming those are actually affixed to an original medal, because, I would hope that is the only reason they are being sold by that particular saleroom?
