A quick look at the medal rolls shows his entitlement to be CC, 01 & 02.

Hello Justin,
Verified for service with their 3rd Battalion, Cape Colony from the main roll WO100/192 page 461 and South Africa 1901 and 1902 from their supplementary roll WO100/192 page 511, I'm thinking a fraud, would be nice to see the actual rivets!

Yes indeed, I must say that I very seldom see this sort of thing and when I do, the medals tend to be to units that would be of no real interest to me anyway.
