Just playing around with the new camera and took some pictures of a Dated Reverse medal to the Strathcona's Horse......

This shows the inverted apostrophe in the naming to identify a first issue.....

Following on from David's suggestion ...... I do not know that there is such a medal anywhere in Natal and, in view of the first clasp on it, perhaps you should give it a new home here. It would be treated with the admiration and respect that it deserves and you would still have your excellent new pictures to admire.

Great collections are often loaned out and the recipients are usually very appreciative!

I will keep both of you in mind when I dispose of my collection..... In fact you can have one each.....
