Earlier tonight I found on ebay a QSA to the RFA with 6 clasps , including Talana, for a Buy It Now of £300

.

Being new to collecting QSA's my first reaction was that it was cheap for a medal with the Talana clasp. My second reaction was to wonder why, and think about checking the entitlement. My third reaction about two minutes later was frustration and disappointment when somebody snapped it up.

Have I missed a bargain? Haven't had chance to check the entitlement. If it's a goodie I hope a forum member was the lucky buyer.

Patrick,

This QSA is verified on my roll:

Chedzoy, 17608 Driver C, 13th Battery, Royal Field Artillery | QSA (6) Tal DoL OFS Tr LN SA01 | Ref: QSA: WO100/140p170 Suppl: WO100/140p182

The medal looks fine to me and I think the price is good too.

Kind regards
David

Thanks for the quick reply. I was torn between taking a risk and buying it that very moment or being prudent and checking! I have once or twice avoided grievous errors with Buy It Now by pausing for thought instead of diving in. In this instance, ' he who hesitates is lost'.

Patrick,

Your concerns are totally understandable and it is safer to be prudent.

I'm sure there will be other opportunities to come.

Best wishes
