Hello Mike,
What a super pair, WO100/287 also shows entitlement to the Belfast clasp, moreover, whilst he served in Strathcona's Horse, he is also shown on the roll of "E" Battery, Royal Canadian Field Artillery, the Coronation medal is confirmed in WO100/111 as you would expect.
Were they expensive? :(
Kind regards Frank

Okay then Mike,
But, still money very well spent I think and you have managed to keep a fine pair in Canada, where they belong, I should be very pleased with them if I were you.
Kind regards Frank

Good Morning Frank.....

According to the medal roll from LAC he was not entitled to the Belfast......

I do not know why but his record in LAC is very small compared to some others......

Going to the Regimental Museum this morning to do some work and will do some more looking there.....

WO100/287 Page 50 shows that he was so entitled, moreover, it clearly shows that his Orange Free State and Transvaal were issued!
