'Cape Colony under martial law: Surrendering arms at Beaufort West.

All sorts and conditions of arms have now been brought in to the military authorities in Cape Colony. In the absence of their husbands serving as transport drivers, the native women may be seen submissively yielding up worn-out firearms, whilst English and Dutch alike cone in on the same errard.
