Border Regiment 2nd Volunteer Company at blockhouse West-Kopje, Klerksdorp, Transvaal . Believed to be mainly men from the Sedbergh area - photo hung in the town’s British Legion Club for many years, but I find it hard to believe so many men would all be from a small Yorkshire Dales market town? I suspect it also includes men from the neighbouring towns of Kirkby Lonsdale and Kendal. Paul
