godber Topic Author Offline Fresh recruit Posts: 1 Thank you received: 0	I have been told by family members that my Great Grandfather, James Gilchrist, was in the Boer War but I am having problems sorting out he names, and whether he was. He was born in Scotland on May 19, 1871. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
