My name is John Jurd and I am researching my Grandfathers involvement in the Boer War.
William Murray Casey was born on the 6th of November 1879 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and died on the 11th of March 1940 in Bondi Junction, New South Wales, Australia.

William Murray Casey probably enlisted in 1901 in the Johannesburg Mounted Rifles, Rank Trooper, Soldier No. 2279, disbandment on the 7th of July 1902. My search is to verify that this information on the man’s details entered (above) are in fact my Grandfather?
