Looking for info on my gr.grandmother Cornelia Johanna Landman who married Pte James Arthur Rumsey in 1909. He was serving with the Hampshire Regiment posted there during the Boer War in around 1901. He originally signed on to the Yorkshire Regiment. Her witness at the ceremony was Anna Johanna Madelina Sophia Landman, whom I assume was her mother. I have been told that they were in the concentration camp there, but am unable to find anything. I do have his army records and is shows they had one child and he left in Sept of 1910. My real interest is the Landman connection.
