Can anybody help me with attestation papers for Thomas Patrick Orford Service No. 15187
74 ( 3rd Dublin) Company 8 Battalion Imperial Yeomanry. I am trying to establish his parentage in Ireland and his address o name of next of kin could really help with this.

As a member of the IY, his papers should be available in the National Archives in London. As you are not local, you could pay a researcher to check for you.

There is a record on FindMyPast for him but I am not sure what this is:

It is merely a reference to this mans entries in WO100, a manual search in WO128 at Kew is clearly the way to go in the case of this particular gentleman.
