Hi All,
I've been researching a relative who became a Tank Corps officer at the end of WW1. As part of that research I've managed to find a letter in his service record from his commanding officer saying he had been in the 1st Northumberland Volunteer Artillery and the 1st Northumberland Brigade RFA (T) from Feb 1900 to June 1910 and for the last 4 years had been a Sergeant.
Can anyone tell me how I can investigate this further please as I have no idea with pre-WW1 records.
I have access to Ancestry or can get on Find My Past in the library if they are of any use.
Thanks a lot,
Michael
