trying to find info on my great grandfather... served no 1 malta coy.. 9th mounted infantry.. loyal north lancs regiment... Charles William Blenheim wilkinson... 3979.. any help appreciated... I have his cap badge and the ribbons only from his medals.. qsa and ksa

There are service papers for him available via Findmypast or at the National Archives. These should provide very useful information on his time in the Army.

The QSA roll records entitlement to Belmont and Modder River clasps for service with the 1st LNLR and says he was invalided to England 31 March 1900 (WO100/192p389)

I cannot see a KSA entry via Ancestry. His service papers will confirm any later service.
