The family found a letter from my great great grandfather Bernardus Lambertus Geldenhuys who was part of the Cape Rebels in the Anglo Boer War. I can find him on the museum site as reference 3387 as being captured after being seriously wounded and was then moved to Matjiesfontein and later Deelfontein. He was sentenced to death but that was later overturned to treason. I cannot find any other information and was hoping that someone on this site might have any information for me?

'n Baie interessante skrywe.
