Searching for any information on my grandfather, Pvte Samuel Morris, Cape Town Guard, 1901. All I have is a photo of him in uniform taken by E. Peters, Art Photo, Cape Town

Welcome to the Forum!

There is very little information (at least here in the UK) on men in the Cape Town TG. The guard was some 10,000 men strong and there are some attestation papers for them in WO126 but I am not sure how many as I have not been through the boxes relating to Town Guards.

Does anyone else know of sources for CTTG men?
