Hi..I have just discovered that my great grandfather served with the Kimberly Town Guards at the time of the Anglo Boer War..his name was George Washington Freestone...how can I find information on him?

1375 Private Freestone first served in the Kimberley Town Guard, posted to the Premier Mine. After the siege, he transferred to the Kimberley Volunteer Regiment. He earned the QSA with clasps DoK, SA01 and SA02. The rolls note that a duplicate medal was issued.
