My great grandfather was Johannes Petrus Paulus and was farming in the Gordonia area, probably in Ganspan, Barkley-Wes.
What commandos were operating in that area?
Would it be possible to look up to see if he was part of a commando or Town Guard?
Was there a list of joiners, hensoppers, neutral people?

I would appreciate any help I can get
