Would this be T. Fowles, 2nd Grenadier Guards, who saw active service in the ABW? The gravestone is in Rake Lane Cemetery, Wallasey, Wirral.

Yes, it commemorates "2721 Pte. T.Fowles, 2GG" and his QSA clasps were "Cape Colony" and "Wittebergen".
