Thomas was my great grand uncle and came from Great Ryburgh, Norfolk. He served with the British South Africa Police and he received the Queen's South Africa medal with 2 clasps, the Cape Colony clasp and the Transvaal clasp.

My query is how do I know if he made it home? I can't seem to find this information. Perhaps it has been destroyed or lost? The rest of the service men from Great Ryburgh seem to have returned by June 1902, but I wonder if this is because they served with regiments rather than the police?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
