My Great Great Grandfather, Fredrick Joseph Weatherell, he was born 15/01/1877 and he joined the Badon Powell Mounted Police for 2 years,
He passed away in 1923 in Christchurch, New Zealand and there are no other dates available, Durham, England was his birthplace

When you mentioned Baden Powell mounted Police I immediately thought of the SAC (South African Constabulary)

I had a look through what info I have and found a Frederick Joseph Weatherell from Bishop, Auckland in the County of Durham. His Mother was his NOK and was living at 7 Princess Street, Bishop. He served in the B Division of the SAC. His date of birth though, is stated as 15/01/1874.
