That would be most kind! Her name was Edith Bell WILKINS - born Southhampton, England, in 1871.

I've been checking on-line passenger records for ships to SA from Southampton (where she lived and only a few miles from where Cyril Augustus DRUMMOND's family estate). There is only one ship with both a Miss Wilkins and a Mr Drummond in the right time frame, but its passenger list doesn't show first names or even initials so remains unproven.

But at least the Miss Drummond isn't listed as a maid......
