I am hoping someone can help me locate a photo of the above noted officer. He was Canadian, serving in a Canadian unit, but later served in the Gordon Highlanders ? I do have a picture of this officer's grave but what I need is any picture of him.

Tim,

In the past, the Canadian Archives in Ottawa have been a great source of information and sometimes pictures. Do they have a file on Ogilvy?

Yes they do have good archives and I have an "inside" source. But unfortunately some Boer War records are very thin and in the case of this officer all they have is his medal records. So I did find some info on a good book I have in my library. It does mention some ofhis career in SA but alas no pic. I found one grainy photo from a magazine article written back in the 1960's but can not get an original copy of the magazine. I hope someone out there will be able to help. Tim
