Hi Sharon,

I have checked on Find My Past for records of your relative.
I have found a James Duggan who served with the 74th but with a different number 79278
He was born London 1872 and his father was Dennis Duggan residing in Bradford.
Does this match any of your information? if it does let me know and I can give you more details.

Paul :)
