This is a long shot. James R Tuohy is listed as a brother of 7906 John Tuohy who served in the RAMC in S Africa from 1/1 00 to 20/6/00 and again from 6/2/01 to 6/11/02.
John's record says " James HSC Sterling"
Does anybody know what this stands for?
I have attached the record as a jpg as I may be wrong in my interpretation of the writing.

Good evening,
I looked at that particular paper and I thought MSC which would be Medical Staff Corps, however, this sheet appears to have been prepared long after that had ceased to exist.
