My young step son bought a magazine today titled 'All About History'.

The double page spread on pages 6-7 is a color photograph of a newspaper and magazine vendor in New York on 23rd Street, east of Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. It was taken in December 1902.

Isn't that a large print of the last stand of the 17th Lancers at Modderfontein in the middle of the stand!!??

Best wishes to all,

Justin

Hello David,
Had it ended like that on the day in question, Haig would, indeed have had something to be proud of!
Regards Frank
