George Pentland, born Perth, Scotland. He enlisted into the 10th Hussars in 1890, transferred to the 14th Hussars in 1897 and went on to complete 21 years and 34 days service. He was awarded his EVII LSGC in April 1911 (Army Order 92). There were only 31 EVII LSGCs to the 14th Hussars.
He died in Brighton on 11/1/1945.
