A postcard from Ragama camp, Ceylon.



Coincidentally, Kaplan is offering a medallion from Ragama:

Q011
Ragama Camp Ceylon 1902 – Bronze size 30 mm. Commemorates the Ragama Boer P.O.W. Camp in Ceylon. It is said that this medal was struck on a ZAR Penny. I cannot find any trace of a ZAR Penny on this medal. A similar medallion was sold by Sotherby’s Johannesburg in 2013 for R35000.00 plus 18 ½ buyers commission.
