I was able to visit the excellent Anglo Boer Museum last week and meet Johan, Elmarie and Victoria. Elmarie is an active member of the forum.

The Anglo Boer Museum is the only museum dedicated to the Boer War as far as I know. Their website is www.wmbr.org.za/

The museum has an amazing collection of artifacts and a large library. The museum staff are active in research, especially on the Boer side, including lists of casualties, POWs and the victims of the concentration camps. Elmarie is also collating a collation of photographs of the British casualties and has posted many of them on the site here.

The museum is a must-see if you have the opportunity.
