Hi Elmarie & the rest



Schalk Willem Meintjes applied for the DTD/ABO/LvW in Feb 1924. He listed his rank as Acting Commandant but the Medal Advisory Board changed it to Captain.
On Form C, under "Nature of Wound", he stated "6 bullet wounds (no limbs lost)". He also stated that after his capture he was sent to Simonstown and afterwards to "Groenpunt" where he remained till peace was declared.
