Just a little trivia......

The number of bars issued to the B.S.A.P. .....

397 Cape Colony
77 Orange Free State
625 Transvaal
1015 Rhodesia
94 Defence of Mafeking
372 Relief of Mafeking
521 South Africa 1901
397 South Africa 1902
536 Rhodesia as a single clasp
269 QSA with date clasps only

The rarest it seems is Orange Free State......

It is a little difficult to see but this QSA looks decidedly renamed to me

Pictures courtesy of Crow's Auction Gallery

Catalogue description says 'A pair of C20th South Africa Corps medals, one Rhodesia 1896, the other with Rhodesia Bar, presented to J.T. Bridges, Municipal Police'

There is a J T Bridges on the QSA roll but not for Rhodesia and not in the Municipal Police.
