Thanks. It is a reasonable price, but does it look a little beaten up around the edges, and the letters don't look right, but always difficult on a photograph?

Bargain hard Doug - the seller has been trying to offload this group for at least a year, possibly two and keeps dropping the price.

From the last Lockdales sale.

QSA (1) Relief of Ladysmith (2807 Pte. T. O'Neil W. Yorkshire Regt).

Wounded in Action 21/01/1900 Spearmans Camp. Thomas O'Neil attested Leeds aged 18yrs 9 mths and was discharged Pontefract 03/11/1906. Comes with research showing wounded in action at Venters Spruit when the West Yorks were involved in severe fighting on the 21st January. Bar confirmed on roll.

Thank you for posting the prices realised at the Lockdales sale. I do not follow British medal sales, so I am a poor judge of results, but I was very surprised by what to me were low prices paid for the single clasp Belmont, Modder River and Relief of Ladysmith QSA's, and the very high price paid for the Rhodesia one.
I realise it is all down to who was bidding on the day. I am sorry that I was not there to bid on the RoL medal!
