Dear David,

I believed we hold this individual's Mauser rifle. Carved 'J. G. W. Basson, Gaberones South Africa, June 3rd 1900' on the butt, the serial number is B1810 and was donated in 1901. I'm presuming this is also the individual that was captured 1901/07/28 and sent to Bermuda!
